that basement is a mehrabeh which is temple of mithraism. the arch you keep refering to as ghebleh is actually the altar for praying to mithra. based on iranian mythology mithra was born from a rock in a cave so their followers made carvings out of stones in secluded areas like this and performed their rituals. this altar used later in mosques and called mehrab. it just shows our amazing pagan roots
@majidbineshgar71562 жыл бұрын
That is right , the very word Mihrabe is believed to have derived from Mihr/ Mehr + abad i.e . the abode of Mithra . curiously also all Mithra temples across Europe had been built in the basement.
@Mithroun2 жыл бұрын
@@majidbineshgar7156 i believe mehrabe means the pit of mithra or sun. also if you look up all these old shrines in iran called imamzadeh they have a place called sardabeh which obviously used to be a pagan temple and new shrines built upon them. zurkhane in iran mostly built underground too and have a pit based on old temples

All this architecture should be attributed to Persians and their original culture, which was beautiful as it is now.

It is clear from the building that these were Zoroastrian temples and later Islam built a mosque here

Subhallah, 900 year old mosque. This was when Iran was Sunni before the Safavids invasion and forced the populace to convert to 12ver Shiism at the point of a sword.

500 years ago Iran was 90% Sunni Muslim. During Shah Abbas time, the capital Qazvin was majority Sunni Muslim right in the northern heart of Iran. That is a recorded fact. Only in 1700s did Sunni Muslims lose the majority in Iran because the Persians were cut-off from the rest of the Islamic world. In the early1800s, Sunnis were still one third. Today we are 15% mostly among minority ethnic communities and among a sizeable persian community in the south in Fars, Bushehr, and Hormuzgan.

Hello👋 One of your followers (I mean "Miss Me" in several previous vlog👉 "Shopping In The MOST COLORFUL Town, Abyaneh 🇮🇷") said " there is no need to pay for the entrance to the mosque ". But now we see they asked you money for mosque tour⁉️🤔🤨 You're so generous and cool boy.💙🇦🇿💙 Zoroastrians worship fire.🔥 But Muslims believe in God. Thanks a lot.💙🙏🏻💙 Have a great journey. 🥰
