Iran President Ebrahim Raisi's death is being mourned by those in the country. Meanwhile, the world is going to closely watch the implications on its geopolitical equations - and further to that, the economic impact. Raisi was long seen as a potential successor to Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei - and now, there's uncertainty about that. His death also triggers further political and geopolitical uncertainty in the middle east, which is already marred by massive conflict.
