This place is a historically precious and beautiful convent. The cross inscription, a stone carving added in 2006, is truly magnificent, and the wooden bell, Kochnak, is equally impressive. I hope to hear the unique sound of this wooden bell someday, and I have no doubt that its soft resonance harmonized deeply with the faithful hearts of the nuns. It is a remarkable artifact. Currently, the convent’s church occasionally hosts religious ceremonies. However, there are no official plans for it to return to full operation as a convent. Since, fortunately, there are no more orphans, the orphanage is now used as a charity association for Armenian women. Thank you for your interest🙏🏻🌸
