The deaths of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and multiple over high-ranking officials were confirmed, following a helicopter crash in Iran’s East Azerbaijan Province.
Independent Iranian Journalist Setareh Sadeqi noted that while the investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is still ongoing, the reaction by Western politicians and the coverage from Western media is a reminder of how little they understand the inner workings of the Iranian Government they are trying to exploit.

if this is the case because of the American Sanctions and Iran cannot maintain the planes due to lack of spare parts then why use such a helicopter. Why not purchase Russian which is more reliable, safe, and far cheaper.

4:03 "so far we don't have evidence"...outside of being a technical issue that [supposedly] brought about the crash. I wouldn't rule out the possibility of some enemy entities being behind the "crash." Let us not forget that a few Iranian high-rank officials have been assassinated.

After the update that the president changed his helicopter from the Russian-made that he normally used and the pilot from IRG to a 30-years old US-made helicopter with the different (than normal IRG) pilot from the Iranian army, it's hard not to suspect a foul play.

It's a strange situation, why were the other 2 helicopters fine? If it was not an assassination attempt, then as Alexander Mercouris of The Duran mentions, it must be incompetence. The incompetence is many folds. 1. Why fly super old US helicopters? Why not buy newer helicopters from Russia? 2. Why did the pilot fly in such bad weather conditions? They should have insisted to go by road. But Why were the other 2 helicopters fine? So tragic and so sad! Especially after Syrian embassy bombing
@hyhhy
@hyhhy 25 күн бұрын
1. I think they might just be used to those helicopters out of old habit. Like when Poland's top government officials died in the 2010 plane crash on an old USSR plane, when landing in thick fog. 2. The pilot may have been pressured by some officials, like supposedly happened in the Polish case. Or there may be some incompetence involved there, either by the pilot or flight control It is of course risky by the government of Iran itself to fly many top officials in the same vehicle like that, although it enables them to converse on the trip.

Nonsense. he did this constantly and would probably have insisted on using this chopper rather than a slower alternative. Not exactly improbable with a 40 year old chopper. the weather apparently changed rapidly. Shit happens, seems hnis aides were worried about his risky/constant travel all over Iran.

If you cannot get parts for aircraft, you don’t use them. How difficult is that to understand? Especially helicopters, which are not the safest in the first place. Several bad decisions were made here, and unless new evidence comes out, this was a catastrophe based on really poor choices, for once, having nothing to do with the west.
@jurjyzaidan5540
@jurjyzaidan5540 25 күн бұрын
You have no concrete evidence of that. The biggest red flag is that in the Irani president's helicopter 🚁 convoy, there were THREE copters! The other TWO made it safe and sound to Tabriz. The copter in the front and the copter in the back made it without any issues to Tabriz... The Helicopter of President Raisi, Foreign Minister Abdollahian, Governor Rahmati, and cleric Al-Hashem was the chopper in the middle... And all video clips of the crash site, clearly depict that the helicopter was unusually burnt out and did not appear like other helicopter crashes that occurred in mountainous, heavily forrested areas... Usually, there are parts found scattered about, but this helicopter was burnt way beyond what it should have been... Almost as if it exploded before it crashed. Forensic investigation will reveal much more, including if or when its black box is forensically examined.
