I don't understand where us exceptionalism comes from why they think they are number 1 model for the rest of humanity? I have lived here for over 50 years and I have seen the society go down a spiral of decadence. Schools are far from good, drugs alcohol rape mass shootings mental disorders steming from lack of parenting. People have no life other than work and bills to pay. It's an unforgiving society where if you fall and break your leg and can't work or pay your bills it will be recorded you will lose everything. Once you become homeless it's generational you will not get back into a home. No one will rent you a decent home because you went homeless and you are as they say high risk. They charge you to give you your own money. They find new names to attach a fee to it and take money from your hard earned money recently 3rd party and no one knows who this third party is. Companies always looking for new names under which they can take money from you. It's total slavery without locks and chains.

The new president will have his hand full. Normally after an election, the incoming president will have a couple of months to prepare. Hopefully we will get a president with policies that are inline with the leadership and what Raisi was doing, perhaps keeping many of the ministers in place at least until he finds capable replacements, if he sees fit.

Iranian people are the ones in the funerals in cities of Iran, not the bastards that celebrate the death of the president. In Iranian culture, whether the religious teaching or Iranian mythology, disrespecting the dead is not normal, and is looked down upon.
