Iraq resumes WTO Accession talks after 16 years

WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala met with Iraq's Minister of Trade, Atheer Dawood Salman Al Ghrairi, on 19 July following his country's Accession Working Party meeting at the WTO. Minister Al Ghrairi emphasized Iraq’s readiness and dedication to the WTO during today's meeting with the Director-General.
