Did you see the video clip of Bush talking about the invasion of Ukraine and he accidentally says Iraq? Like, there you go, he admitted it whether he meant to or not.

This man is the partner of Abby Martin, a famous independent journalist and reporter known for exposing war crimes (she's especially known for her work in Palestine and for the Palestinian cause). Both are also behind the production of Empire Files, a brilliant documentary series invesrigating wars led by the USA. He was really brave by doing this 👏

Oh shit thats right! He was a main protestor for Iraq veterans against the war. I remember videos of him throwing his medals over the whitehouse fence.

I saw an interview, like a decade ago, where GBJ said his fathers only regret from his one term as President was that he didn’t oust Saddam. Then it all clicked. That is why we went into Iraq. Not for the imaginary WMDs. Because Jr. wanted to oust Saddam for his dad’s approval. Let’s face it. Jr. was an idiot for a Yale graduate. How does someone who graduates from an Ivy League not no when a word is made up?

Something that needs to be remembered was just how unpopular that war was among alot of people. The Iraq war was the first war in recorded western history that major national level protests and demonstrations began before the war even started.

I'm a Field Artillery Veteran, 13S Artillery Survey. I agree with Mike on everything. If there's one thing that the army showed me that I'll never forget, was how well the healthcare worked out and how the stupid mentality of "Don't use it or you're weak" hurt so many soldiers and left them damaged and broken. So many of the Army's foundations require the acceptance of a socialist system. The Army is why I'm a socialist. And Mike's not wrong about the exploitation of the US Military. He's 100% in the right. The Bush admin lied, they had no reason for us to be there. It was oil securities not terrorism.

At any public bush speech event like this, many people now have a duty to do the same.

While I do agree with him, I believe he went about it the wrong way. That said, I also believe it was an inside job
