You're the reason I got addicted to Rune Factory. I was looking for a life simulator game that was fun and had romance, and I watched your Rune Factory 5 review 2 days after you posted it. Since it had farming, I didn't think that I was going to be too into it since I haven't played farming simulators and never considered it my cup of tea, but like you, now I'm like, "I gotta level up my crops and make a lot of money from harvesting leeks!" I started with Rune Factory 5, and now I'm playing Rune Factory 4 Special! I'm so hooked! This game has grown on me over time I would still like some performance patches in the future,but the game is fun.Its Rune Factory 4 gameplay mechanics in 3D which is great.Issues not related to performance are the dungeons and boss fights.Bosses are way too easy with slow telegraphed attacks that can be easily dodged even on hard mode I beat every boss on my first try im not expecting DMC difficulty boss fight wise,but having to put some effort in would have been nice.That certain boss fight before the final boss was pretty cool though can't say who it is because of spoilers but it was an awesome fight wish RF5 could have had more boss fights like it.

Personally speaking, I've never had such a fine time with a game with obvious performance issues 😂 Eventually, you have to stop listening to reviews and learn to judge a game for yourself. Even if a game is receiving middling, even negative review scores... if something inside of you is still tempted to try it out, you know what you should do? Try it out. Blaze your own trail and leave the critics behind. So if you're out there and tempted to give RF5 a try, you know what you should do? Take the plunge. You may just be glad you did.

yeah but honestly if the game is going to run like dog poo, then discount the game and don't charge a full 60 dollars. if it was maybe 30 bucks i'd be able to look past the fps, but because i paid full price, i expected a cleaned polished game or a promise of future patches/updates, but we got neither, i seriously want to sue the company if it were possible

Ircha Gaming, formally first, congratulations on shortly becoming married! I just hope he'll cope well with your video gaming. I'll be buying Rune Factory 5 next month, however it'll be sometime before I play it because I've got 7 other JRPG's that I'm eventually going to buy also. It'll be for setting up of doing a JRPG gaming marathon that'll probably take at least 7,500 hours for all of them combined plus another 1,500 hours once Genshin Impact is available in a few years on the Switch. I finished Breath Of The Wild this past May which I had entirely played through both modes that took me 2,155+ hours since I had initially began last year as of Feb.19th 2021!

@@ircha I'm not sure if you noticed how I mentioned that I had entirely completed BOTH modes in BOTW as to why it took me over 2,100 hours. I literally did everything there is to do, including having collected all 900 korok seeds.....TWICE(which that alone took me 2 straight weeks to get them all), got ALL key inventory items, upgraded all the armor sets + dlc sets to lv.4, did all 136 shrines, AND even went out of my way as for getting 8 Savage Lynel Crushers, each with 100+ durability. Though I do have just a few minor tasks left on Master Mode as I'm at 99.91% completion, as I'll be finishing that up once I get my Ipad charger replacement from Samsung. And I'm sure I'll be enjoying Rune Factory 5 as you've expressingly emphasized on, as it looks very similar to Genshin Impact as with the character graphics, and how their attacking style seems to be identically the same.

Unfortunately, these types of games aren’t for me. However, when Ircha was showing all of her stuff in game I really enjoyed it because you can tell her enjoyment of the game. I’ve always looked at people playing games I don’t like and wouldn’t purchase and go WHY?? Ircha explains this and ALMOST makes me want to go buy this to check it out. Almost.

I love my Earthmate Edition! I think it is great they put the editions specific DLC on the cart, which makes it feel more unique than the base game which does not come with those goodies. 😍

What I find very appealing about the game is how the graphics of the characters looks just identical to those in Genshin Impact. Which suffice to say that I can't wait for GI to be available on the Switch in a couple years from now!

I personally have 160 hours for this game (you saying you had 100 hours in your title made me check), and have an 83% total completion shipping rate, with my character at level 212 currently. Unlike you, unfortunately, I have had the game crash on me more than a few times (always when transitioning between loading areas, like from building to the outside world), but I love the game enough to look past that (I have had Rune Factory 4 randomly crash on me, so I was expecting this in 5). I really enjoyed Rune Factory 3 and 4, and was really looking forward to 5 ever since I heard there was even the slightest possibility for a 5th Rune factory game; I was not disappointed. PS 8:31 Really? I only entered the wrong bath *once*, and that was in RF 4 when I first started playing the game.

I want harder, longer boss fights. I wish enemies had more hp as well. Still a great game but they could make an actual "hard" difficulty, not just in name alone. Still, it is very fun and just a personal peeve of mine.

Get Farming recipe breads from the bakery, and level up forging and fishing, then the breads will contain recipes 😉😁

Your game hasn't crashed on you? Two or three times my Switch says "an error has occured," or something, and the RF5 app closes, and I think it happens when I have to put the game down for awhile and the Switch goes in to Sleep Mode, and then return to playing. I also think cutscenes were possibly culprit. Either way, I try to save at every save-point now in-game. The auto-save feature I thought would be a failsafe, but it has made me repeat 1-2 days at a time already, and productive days in RF5 are *long*.

Played for like 50h than got sad that I haven’t put so much time into SOS Pioneers of Olive town and went to this game, which I’m playing now for a while and it’s great, I’m really enjoying it but still can’t wait to come back to RF5 and I’m really happy that there will still be things left to do to me when I return🥰❤️ Bought a Nintendo 3Ds yesterday and to day I could find RF and RF 2 for a reasonable price, felt in love with RF when I played RF4 for the switch, so I’m late in the game but I want to get as deep in it as possible but RF3 is so hard to get if you don’t want to spend hundreds of euros🙈
