Mary James Gill, Executive Director, Center for Law & Justice, Pakistan.
There has been one missing link in water and sanitation: the workforce in sanitation. The world has not been thinking about the sanitation workers.
In her address to thought leaders and local government present at the All Systems Connect International Symposium, Mary James Gill, called for action and change for those humans who are putting their lives at risk every day, while working to provide us public health, clean cities, responsible to collect our waste and clean our sewers.
Without investing in the humans required to implement SDG6, we will not achieve the ambitious agenda the world committed to.
