I spent two years homeless. In that two years, I spent a quiet a bit of time with nature.First lesson I learned was balance. The rocks taught me to focus and take my time. The trees and vines taught me to walk on the earth with respect. The darkness taught me to use my ears, as sight. We are to the flower as the tree is to us. Imagine a world the trees could walk. Would we not want them to walk on the earth with caution awareness and respect? The flower wishes the same of us. Love all living life!

The speaker suggested that after a collapse many would gravitate to indigenous tribal areas to survive. I actually cried when he said his door is always open. I want to drop everything and go and see if this natural life cures or helps my many chronic illnesses. I’m 25 next month and already have a hysterectomy and can’t hold a job because of my other, worse medical issues. I’ve always been an outdoorsy person and I’ve always felt more connected with nature and the animals than the society we live in today. What a beautiful soul.. I’m Japanese and felt a strong connection listening to his song. I agree with him the western way has set us back, nobody even knows how to live in nature anymore or how to heal the body and soul, knowledge has been destroyed and we’ve become slaves to the system and we’re fueling the power that’s creating so much destruction hate and chaos, we have all become lost souls. It takes a strong spirit to do what he did. Most people can’t even imagine leaving the comforts of their homes to go somewhere that has a completely different array of languages and societal norms. As an half Indigenous person myself, Indigenous language is way more complex then English. Ofcourse he can learn it in order to help others learn and grow. Being mixed with Native and barren of culture it was really nice to hear him sing.... listened to it on repeat. It was like instead of hearing it with my ears...I was listening with my blood. Like my body heard it not my ears. There is so much shame with Native culture it seems hard to find anyone who knows the culture, are proud of it, and teach it. People care so much about other cultures....but because native culture is more on the respectful side it appears to get pushed aside. Don't let the media brainwash you, you don't need all the junk they make you believe you need, lots of makeup, clothing, tech devices and so on. Keep it simple, technology can help us sometimes, but don't depend on it. If you do that you will suddenly realize you have more time, spend it doing something that makes you feel useful and happy. Similar social conventions and stress that exist in your society also exist in tribal societies. I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing both a western modern way of life and a tribal traditional way of life. I don’t think I fit in either one of them. The western modern way is too stressful, too materialistic, too disingenuous and detached from the natural way of life. However my tribal culture is too misogynistic where I as a woman felt and was treated like a second class citizen, I didn’t have equal opportunity to education as my male relatives and the gender roles are quite restrictive. However, I love my traditions, my culture’s connection to nature and spirituality and so many other things. I guess I just have to be greatful for being able to be exposed to such different lifestyles and it’s up to me to find my place in the universe just as I pray that you will find that world & life you fantasise about! 🙂

It takes a lot of courage to come to a new environment.... Learn a new language... And speak to people who are completely unfamiliar.... Only to protect his tribe and forest....I respect him for the courage he shown and for speaking gently...and mainly inviting to his tribe ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I am so impressed with the language ability and courage of the speaker. As an ESL instructor and non-native speaker of English, I know what it takes to learn a new language in adulthood.
