No action against Insurance companies by IRDA. Now new business has started as OPD. Give doctors money receipts. In India to meet a doctor itself is a challenge, who will give money receipt. To get 500 rupees reimbursement you have to give answer 500 questions. My experience with Bajaj Allianz and Nivabupa. Better to take insurance from Policy Bazaar as per customized you need. Not take from a company directly as the same policy with lots of add-on will not generally be in use. Remember health insurance in India is in premature stage and psychological game with common man. No guarantee company will help you, when you really need it.

Consider ICR with CSR.. Yes, Niva Bupa's ICR is too low with 88% CSR. That means Company is Settling Claims with small amount and Rejecting Larger Claims. So better go with other insurer..
