There’s a lot to unpack here, I was overwhelmed with emotion during my first listen for the reaction video so I’m going to give some more thoughts below💚 This song has so much meaning behind it. It talks about a journey, coming back home, being the road in your own map - interestingly, the lyrics never even mention the word “maps”! Lesley has gone on her own “journey” with Eurovision and she deserves this year of representing Ireland so so so much. I can’t emphasise that enough. She cares about the contest, the music and the fans so much. She poured her heart and soul into this song and video. She has also gone on a huge journey in her career, travelling all over the world and doing songwriting and performing with some amazing artists. Now she has “come back home” to Ireland for this next journey; Eurovision. In a year where we’re all stuck at home, and others can’t get home, this song will strike a chord with a lot of people I think. Is qualification possible? I really hope so, if the emotion and meaning of the song translate on stage, then I think it can, and should. Ultimately, I don’t even care if this NQs or wins the whole thing - it’s now one of my favourite Eurovision songs ever, and will always hold a special place in my heart! 💚 #LoveForLesley

well, Ireland has stepped-up their game this year. it's still another 2000s/early 2010s nostalgic song (similar to what Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift and/or Avril Lavigne would release in those years), but somehow it feels more Irish. to me it's also even like Banshee + her "Story of My Life" in combination.

MUCH BETTER than last year's entry. The song for last year was a B, but this is an A for the song & video. The video for last year was a big turn off. It was trying to do too much and be too much. The end result was the video not really doing or being anything. Hollow pandering comes to mind. This year's video doesn't distract from the lyrics. It's focused. Germany is making the mistake this year that Ireland made last year. This song could definitely make it into the top five! Whether or not it can beat France, Ukraine, or Iceland & Switzerland (I'm expecting strong entries from them based off last year) remains to be seen. But, it is a solid and exciting entry for sure!

I actually think the video doesn't capture the beauty of Ireland, the west coasts of Ireland are stunning and this is east coast. As for the song, its a nice pop song but I doubt its going to stand out enough to qualify, I'm afraid. Really hope I'm wrong though. 🇮🇪
