Ireland needs to work harder on cooperation with China, it has a very similar history of colonial oppression. However because of its history and it’s proximity to America it’s government is more partial to the United States while a great number of Irish people are skeptical about America… a careful balance needs to be struck

I'd go further and say the Irish, along with the Welsh, were subject to cultural genocide by the English. Kids were punished for speaking their own Celtic languages, and a whole generation or two were made to feel ashamed to pass on their languages to their kids. The same thing happened to the natives of Canada, USA, Australia. And yet these holier-than-thou countries see fit to make up lies, accusing China of doing what they did.

Both Ireland and Scottland should work progressively toward leaving the UK. These 2 countries deserve a chance to escape from under the ruthless British boot. As a Chinese, I'm of the opinion that the reporter and CGTN need to be prepared more for interviews next time. The reporter/interviewer should be smiling and not expressionless. And she should ensure correct pronunciations of country and other things. Her Excellency Ambassador had mentioned her country a few times but the reporter kept repeating the wrong pronunciation. That goes to show that she did not listen to her interviewee. 😂😂

Ireland is one the most beautiful countries in europe. Dublin, Galloway and others cities are unforgetable. You can see even Charlot near the road. The keltic monuments, culture in general, the green island, the hundreds of bars with good beer and the best whisky in the world. I don't forget there is a Ministry of Traditions, only Ireland have one in that terms.
