I get some do treat there horses good and do the best for them and it’s nice to see him doing his best for them but personally from looking after and bringing up horses it’s not good for filly’s and colts to be raced at such a young age some aren’t even ready to be backed by a person never mind race whilst pulling a cart I worked years to back my horse cause it did it properly so I wouldn’t hurt him and they just are hurting them as much as they believe they aren’t and it’s quiet sad

Why don't they buy a field and make a race track its cruel to the horses pushing a horse out of fear with cars behind them, you can still have the trill of the race on a field track without the cruelty to the horse or putting road users in danger! Travellers have a right to their heritage but why can't it be done safely to the horse's road users and sulky drivers!

" Do any of the girls have any interest? " " Nah, it's a men's thing." Girls ADORE horses. It's wrong not to encourage them simply because of gender. Makes no sense. Results wise, we had a young woman who won the Melbourne Cup a few years back, no mean feat. Anyone who's interested should be encouraged. It's a HUMAN thing, to be passionate about horses and want to work with them. That attitude really spoils it.

I get the impression most of them have horses because it's so damn expensive to put a tax disc on a car, 1835 euros for a big 3 litre car. A 1 litre Fiesta's tax ain't a bargain either. I'd have castrated the lot of them. 100 years later they'd be extinct. & then the horses would do what they were meant to.

this is animal abuse, dangerous, damages legs and feet. This is a big problem in the UK. These vile individuals consider animals theirs to use and abuse. They often shoe and race foals as young as 10 months towing full grown men. When a horse falls and can't get up they take the cart and harness leaving the animal at the side of the road.
