But after bhakti movement it became majorily combination of four thoughts of school or sects as shaktism,smartism, vaishnavism and shivism . Yes indian religions share somethings in common but are different in their approach. So at the end of the day Sikhism, Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism are different religions.

The gold on the golden temple is real gold plating inside and outside the main Gurudwara in the water. It was donated by Maharaja Ranjeet Singh, sometime between 1820-30. The water around the Gurudwara is recycled systematically using fresh water from the river nearby. And the temple is not floating. Thank you for the reaction, great to watch you as always.

Amazing video guys! Glad to have stumbled upon this! The guy in the video says that the worships are done on sundays but its done every single day in gurudwaras starting at 4am. That time is known as 'Amrit Vehla' He has done an amazing job with the pronounciations. If you were happy to see those light, You should definitely see videos of Golden temple on the festival of diwali. Its a saying that goes, 'Dal roti ghar di, diwali amritsar di' which roughly translates to there is no food better than that you get at home and there is no place you will see diwali being celebrated better than at amritsar i.e., at the Golden Temple.

Another Awesome Fact: As most religious scriptures are divided in chapters. The Guru Granth Sahib Ji is divided in Music. That literally means that it's divided on the basis of Ragas (The way a bani is sung). There are major 31 ragas. But all together there are 60 ragas. That means that all the Angs (The holy pages of Guru Granth Sahib) are sung rather than just chanted out.

@harpartapsingh73 жыл бұрын
@6174_Harsimran Singh I don't want to argue but that is not a tradition this have started recently in past 1 or 2 decades and even that little amount of milk have a value and wasting it on purpose like this is against teachings of Gurus. Also logically milk isn't ideal to clean floor with they can use more expensive liquids to clean the floor but those are meant to serve as floor cleaners.

For us, Guru Granth Sahib is basically our 11th guru. I noticed that a lot of people in the comments were stating that sikh worship is on certain days. Yes, most of us go to gurdwaras on Sundays, but in the Sikh faith, true worship is the remembrance of god and that is supposed to be 24/7 as it is stated throughout gurbani. For example, gurbani states "saas saas simro gobind" which translates to "With each and every breadth, meditate in remembrance on the Lord of the universe. Also, equality in our faith comes from the belief that God is in everyone, god created everyone equally, and that we are all his children. Also, for us the gurus never truly died, they merged into God. God and guru is the same. Sikhi is not only a faith but a practice and a way of life, we actively try to become more and more like our gurus. We also try to stay away from materialistic desires which are also known as the kaam, krodh, lobh, moh, hankar. Thank you so much for the videos and all the effort into research, we really do appreciate it. I apologize if I am mistaken in anything, I am only a student.
