Fair enough! I personally chose to end it that way because for me, the point was about for standing up for what you believe in in, whether or not you win. You don’t always succeed in changing minds in real life, so to me, it didn’t matter so much whether they won, so long as they made a stand. But I definitely understand your perspective!

It’s meant to be open ended, so I guess what happened is up to your interpretation! I didn’t want to say if they won or lost because the point of the short was that it’s important to stand up for what you believe in and even if you don’t necessarily win the effort is still worthwhile.
