As a Monique supporter, and a fellow woman of color, please do not give anybody, especially a man this much power to take over your voice, and your message on this channel. We are here to support you in your journey. The way that you live your life. You do not need to explain to anyone why you do what you do. I found you because I was looking up things to do in Mexico and I stayed around because of your message and personality, and the fact that you’re raising a daughter as I am as well. I am so excited to see the content that you have coming forward, and I will always celebrate you and Munchkin. You are putting your best forward in this world. Sending peace, love and light. 💜

Lady, please live YOUR life and ignore those keyboard know-it-alls. Those of us who actually follow you know the true story and we're with you. Everywhere has problems, Jamaica included, but where each person wishes to call home is their choice. I'm enjoying this phase with you and love watching another 40+ year old like me still figuring life out on their own terms. Keep inspiring and thriving sis.

I truly enjoy your channel, thanks for highlighting some of the problems traveling on the Jamaican passport. From what I had heard, I really thought the JA passport was strong. That’s really unfortunate what’s happening to Jamaicans trying to visit Mexico but a few bad ones made it bad for a lot of us. Lastly next time tell the troll thanks for leaving a comment since it helps your channel engagement so he’s contributing towards your KZbin success after all.

“Hey Queen, I just moved to Mérida and have been a big fan of your channel! I’m a retired chef and caterer with experience in health care meal services, food trucks, and southern fusion cuisines. I’d love to treat your family to some free meals and, if it’s a fit, come on your show to share my story and passion for food. Keep up the amazing work!”

I love your decision! I hope you will do a channel about how to get remote j obs like Odetta Rockhead Kerr. Her channel grew so fast. I made this suggestion because you have been wor king remote successfully and many people want to do the same thing.

As a Jamaican, traveling in Africa is very easy! That passport is gold there. Something to consider. My great grandparents were Jamaican. I’ve considered getting citizenship just to have another passport and to be able to travel through Africa. It’s very unfortunate that many are being turned away at the border. Lots of interesting things have and are happening politically there. As for Jamaica.. Jamaica is digging its own grave to be truthful. The powers that were and be are easily bought and sold and are controlled. Other nations come in set up shop meanwhile the locals are not allowed certain areas, no jobs for them and no opportunities..still! After decades and decades, some of my family left Jamaica to work in other countries because there were none there and still, there are none there. There’s so much that could be said but nothing will be done.

I love the new channel name. I like it better than the travelling Jamaican. I hope u keep it. Yes girl! Get excited about life. I wish Jamaica would start denying people entry the way they turn us back. I sincerely believe in our ability to figure out our gdp without tourism. Will it be hard? absolutely, but every recovery is.

Hopefully Jamaica can improve in the next few years, but I fear it will have the same fate as Haiti. What is wrong with Caribbean leadership that is powerless to stop criminality that causes so much economic and societal damage? This is affecting tourism and foreign business investment. Sad.

That is great you did the traveling to another country and lived somewhere eles. That is so great and it's good to go back to where you grew up and came from so that is great. That is a shame that Mexico is making Jamacian feel unwelcome.

Ask some of your American followers if they ever needed a invitation letter to come to Jamaica? They all want to come to our country and enjoy our island and we allow them freely but they turn us away. Maybe we should start searching out the ones that runway and hide out in our country. Jamaica aint great but where is?
