This is the best explanation of the effect that I have ever seen. Makes me wonder about all the different kinds of light sources you could use to illuminate these agates. UV, polarised and different lasers beams.
@OzoneFineArtVentures2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I really appreciate that feedback from you. It would be amazing to try some different light sources. I know that the quality of light makes a huge difference to how you see the Iris Spectrum. White, cold, led doesn't seem as good as warmer incandescent bulb, at least with my limited experience. Seeking a good backlight was the extent of experimenting though it should be fun to try some other things. Thanks for watching!

Hi Karen, some great pieces of iris agate. Your descriptive dialogue is second to none as always,very interpretive. I had a thought while watching which needs “someone” with an artistic bent to ponder it further. I was thinking how good would they look as a “mobile” type light, with each segment of the light, lit by an individual beam(led) from a centre light source. That would be an interesting light. 🌈 Keep Safe & Keep Rockin
