If you talking about X4 then it's impossible because this is Colonel and Iris fusion. And Colonel died before Zero fights with Iris. So Iris can't return to her original form. But if you're talking about Dive for final form then yes you're right.

Tbh, it's a surprise she doesn't just outright hate him from that dejavu. I mean, even if there was nothing actually personal about it, it still kinda sucks. Zero killed the main-timeline version of one of her halfs and the other half destroyed herself trying to kill him in revenge. Really poor vibes.

There's no "one of her halfs": Iris Another is, technically, Colonel's honorable warrior personality data in Iris' body (and it's implied that Colonel Another has Iris' peaceful personality data in Colonel's body). Iris Another would see mainline Colonel as... just a very different version of Colonel, but still her other half (and be just as protective of him as Colonel is of Iris). And mainline Iris as still *herself*, if a very different version. Still extremely poor vibes, at MOST she'd feel sorrowful as well as murderous revenge-y toward Zero.
