Interesting points there Keith, not many I disagree with personally. I think your points on JJ Lunney were bang on, likewise with Kenny. Amond over Hoban this season all day long as well.

Clarke is a very fair shout! The general standard of shot-stopping in the Division is higher than the standard of distribution among goalkeepers, I believe. We've seen plenty of keepers this season wobble in the face of opposition press tactics and lose their nerve a bit. But Clarke never even looked like his form was dipping at at any stage from what I saw, and that sets up a team to really drive on. Easy to forget that Galway United have had their best season in many, many years and Clarke is a massive part of it. Loved the shout for Ellis Chapman too, he was a joy to watch this season. By the way, what a shame that things didn't work out for Waterford's Asamoah, who was electric very early on this season. Probably the single most cool, stylish player I saw in the Division this year. Finally, if there's a Wooden Spoon Award for worst League of Ireland player this season, if has to be Englishman George Shelvey, the hapless Dundalk keeper who famously got a ten match ban for calling the ref an "Irish c**t" before being let go. He no longer plays professional football. 😢😂😅

Good team and well explained Keith. Only changes id make would be Kearns for Clarke. Chapman a little under the radar for most people. Od possibly swap Coyle for Lunney. Hes like Sheilds when at Dundalk. Everyone hated him but would have him starting in their own team. You were spot on with comments on Kenny. Really hope he stays and improves his strike ratio. Finally, dont think Connoly was consistent enough to be in a twam of the year but cant think of who to replace him with. Maybe a Galway cb but not seen enough of them to pick?

Good pick keith .wouldnt dissagree with any of the players u chosen .im a derry fan .weve had an awful season .honest opinion .think pats are my tip 4 nxt season.lynch in at derry with no loi expierence other than a heavy defeat against rovers .wish him well .but think we will struggle

Only thing with lynch you’d argue he overachieved at Larne. An interesting appointment I’d say give him two seasons and then see were Derry are

Cant argue with any of them, i think Lunney and Coyle both had dips in the season and both were missing for a few games, i think we missed Lunney a little more but Coyle was untouchable during our first run of games Curious who your young player of the year is (to make it challenging they cant be from the already picked list)

It's not similar to your view on Mulraney for Player of The year as he wasn't great for over half a season, still contributed greatly to Pat's over the course of the season especially at the business end where it mattered. Still matter of opinions ,agree with most of your team

@rudders38 only issue with Mulraney he was poor first half. Jarvis left, but played a massive role in a team of the season. Plus I didn’t see many better on that side

Solid team right there, if I had to mention a Bohs player I’d pick Rooney, 7 goals and 10 assists. Probably would’ve been relegated without him to be honest 😂

Brendan Clarke is my goalkeeper of the year too as a Galway Utd fan he was brilliant all season Yes he had good defence in front of him but when called into action made brilliant saves several times that kept us in games. Also great with his feet as u said, Would been disappointed in you had u not chosen him😊

@@Anpuca24 he didn’t say he just picked him because of his feet you dingbat. He said that addition to his game made him stand out. Clarke has also made some of the best saves in the league this season thats why he has won player of the year at the club and the PFAI team of the year. But clearly you haven’t been taking any notice . Have a bit of respect when your posting too
