It was Harpic, could not give it away in West Cork last time I tried to drink one was in America it tasted worse than in Ireland, Sally Ó Brien was the only highlight of a time when a shift was as rare as the smell of a fiver.

We can't make good lager here in Ireland because of the hard water. The best lager regions like Munich and Pilsen are far from the sea and have soft water that's ideal for making it.

@@murpho999 When the Harp beer adverts where on the TV in the 80s . I can not recall or remember them mentioning that it was a irish beer at the time . I wernt sure where harp could have been from I wasnt of age to drink then ;)
