rodolfo acorda​ That's why as i said they used to play the Irish National anthem at the end of programming;but the commenter VTM on YT - Official Channel has pointed out RTÉ One became 24/7 in early 2001. So that's when they stopped playing the Irish National anthem in early 2001.

@@johnjohns6181 Just remember this day the 16th of September 2021 is the day Sinn Féin became the biggest political party in Dáil Éireann with 36 TDs after a Fainna Fáil TD resigned leaving Fianna Fáil with 35 TDs. God I miss that being played in the evening, and particularly with those visuals. If they reshot that video today it would no doubt be a sanctimonious visual lecture about diversity/inclusion/feminism/immigration/lGBT stuff, but the old visuals showcasing ireland natural beauty and Celtic heritage is absolutely fabulous. I deeply wish we could show more things on TV that had a vein of national pride about them.
