@megan46458 жыл бұрын
+JNEGRON2001 I see your point, but to understand it you have to stop thinking of it like nutella or jam and more like you would use a strong tasting savoury sauce, like if you drown anything in soy sauce it will taste gross but if you use vegemite to add to the toast and butter, it's good. People are confused by the jar and breakfast I think, it's not meant to be sweet or eaten by the spoonful. Use it like a strong tasting sauce - just a little.

also fun: if you have a mouth ulcer, rather than gargling salt water, smear vegemite on it! not even joking. i can't remember how it works but somehow the salt content aids in healing it. the vegemite also produces results even faster than a salt water gargle/rinse.

"Holy god, it's really strong" he says after he used about two tablespoons of vegemite on a single slice of toast. Ah, foreigners and their rookie mistakes.

+Alcoholic Nun lol I know Australians that cant even stand the smallest amount of Vegemite and tell me only about 25% of people even like it lol. Pretty much everyone hates it. I tried a very small amount on buttered toast and it tastes like fermented yeast , so fucking gross lol. I only used about 1/8 of a teaspoon to try and yeah. Everyone was right its nasty as fuck.
@alcoholicnun68418 жыл бұрын
+XPsilocybinDream Yeah, I'm Australian and I'm not really a fan of it. It's DECENT if there's online a tiny, thin layer of it, but what the heck is the point of that? I'll just grab some Nutella instead, thanks.
@ihatemadmoe8 жыл бұрын
+Alcoholic Nun you put nutella on bread? is diabetes your life goal or some shit? it's just chocolate sauce.
@alcoholicnun68418 жыл бұрын
+ihatemadmoe I rarely eat sandwiches at all, but Nutella is a spread that is designed to be used for sandwiches and toast, so I have no idea what you're on about.
@julchensweet25386 жыл бұрын
How else is one supposed to eat Nutella? There is even a picture on the packaging of a slice of bread with a thick layer of Nutella on it.

As a South African. I used to swim squad in primary school. We trained 3 days a week in the morning from like 6 to after 7. In the morning the tuck shop used to open and sell hotdog rolls which were toasted in a bread press so they were squashed and crispy topped with a layer of butter and bovril. That was life😭😭😭

@@nikiwagner5243 Proper ANZAC biscuits are meant to be a LOT softer than what you get in premade off the shelf bags.

+Jamie P With pretty much any other kind of spread (jam, butter, peanut butter, nutella), you can spread it liberally on toast and eat it. Unless they were told by someone or brought up eating it, why would they think Vegemite would be any different?
