Hello Barry, found you recently...YOU ARE THE BEST!!!😉😎😁 PTX has been a staple in my song catalogue for many years now, Just Love their A Capella blends, harmonies & their Energy. This song in particular was a HUGE favorite when Simon & Garfunkel put out Bridge of Trouble Water, yes I am talking Vinyl (dating myself rather badly...🤣) I also heard the version that Disturb has released...knocked my socks off to say the least. I am a musician, I can not sing except to raise the Dead. I play this song with a Trumpet & French Horn. I truly have watched PTXs video more than a hundred times. It is as you said PERFECTION!!! I would like to throw out another A Capella group to you...HOME FREE. They are also yet another group I love. Avi Kaplan sang a couple collaborations with Home Free. Home Fries like myself are Patreons, I personally think if you listen to a couple of their videos you would see that they are the other side of the Perfection Coin to PTX. The original is a classic song. The Disturbed version is very gritty, angry and again it is an excellent version. This one is where the two meet, it has some grit to it, but it is more hopeful sounding, and you get to see that wall of sound they can produce that is unreal.
