Haha you wrapped up the video by saying that’s the redwing elk tracker. I don’t know much about the boots but is Irish setter owned by redwing or something?

Mistake on my part haha but yes redwing owns Irish Setter

I think its time you also invest in a set of gators if snow is getting into your boots...

@@cameronmcpeak5183 I'm in the market for a set of gaiters myself and the Outdoor Research Crocodile gaiters seem to be a popular choice, especially for durability. Great video! Picked up a pair of these the other day and they are some of the most comfortable boots I've ever worn even straight out of the box. Can't wait to do some back country hikes with these.

How was the ankle support for mountain hunting?
@cameronmcpeak5183 Жыл бұрын
There pretty good but i will say the 1000G is really puffy so if you tighten too much theres less insulation but more support. And if you loosen them up a bit theres lots of insulation and a little ankle support.

Are there different versions of this boot? I noticed there is the circle logo on the bottom and also just the Irish setter lettering

I will only buy the heritage red wings, they’re just built so much better. I know that they have some good made in the usa boots in the work line but mostly everything is poorly made.
@cameronmcpeak51833 жыл бұрын
All depends on your needs. Theres nothing in the heritage line that even remotely competes with these 1000g Irish setter boots. Although there are lots of other manufacturers that make similar boots. I did a review on my ironworkers and they are tough as iron i swear!
