LOVE IT! IT's so great to see the way Irish dancing used to be...without all those CrAzY dresses!! Superb job!

oh I love the old steps, they seem so different but the rhythm is great! and they do a lot more twisty type moves

I completely agree with u about the wigs. I have naturally curly hair, which I personally think looks far better than any wig. I love the dresses from back then as well! They're far less tacky.

From people who had really long, only somewhat curly hair and were 5 years old, waking up at like 5 in the morning to curl hair for a feis, and since the feis was outdoors their hair came down in about 5 minutes anyway. I've been dancing before and after the switch- I love wigs. SOOOO much easier. The only danger is them falling off. These dancers are fantastic! So precise. Their beats are incredible. I think we need more complex beats and precise footwork today. These women are amazing!!

Maybe I'm old fashioned but I prefer these old steps to the new ones my daughter dances. There are no "tricks" just lovely, traditional steps that really emphasize the "Irishness" of Irish Dance. Now it's all about the moonwalk, spins, toestands, and leaps. I also prefer the natural hair to the wigs. The designs on the dresses are lovely however the dresses are a bit long. Still all in all I really enjoyed seeing how it used to be

Really loved it too. I agree, we danced just great years ago without wigs. Where did that idea come from?
