What is the difference between my transversal flute and this one? Is it only about the timbre of the flute? Can I reproduce these techniques on my flute?

+Felipe Lynn Hossu Albuquerque Are you playing a silver flute? If so, some of the fingering is different, e.g. F sharp, but it is of course possible to replicate all of the techniques I show. Hi Kirsten, I did end up getting my flute from Casey Burns and I love it! I’m going thru Steph's lessons now on OAIM and am having a little trouble with the throat articulation. Maybe it just takes more practice, but in tunes like The Winding Road (aka the Idle Road) or Mooncoin jig, full octave jumps are very hard. Like start of B part of Winding Road, you play Ggg or in Mooncoin C part, you play Aaa. That leap up from G to g or A to a is really hard for me. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Can i use a baroque flute for practice the Irish flute ?

I don't know very much about baroque flutes but you can play Irish music on any instrument :)
