Their range is shaping up nicely. Hopefully soon we'll get something around 24mm and 85mm to go with 'em! :)
@diyphotography3 жыл бұрын
yea, it definitely looks like they are putting more focus on R&D and market needs.

Thanks, great review. Other reviewers, though, have pointed out a less than stellar sharpness with this lens?

Dude, I’m following this quite for sometime. Will this go well with BMPCC 6K?
@biskero Жыл бұрын
is there a technical difference between the imperial and metric or is just labeling?

Labeling only

Great video! First time in your channel. If you allow me one question please I'm planning to make training videos for my clients (recorded and live). I think the camera l'll use is the BMPCC6K G2. Al the videos will be shoot in a home studio and the type of video will be something like your video. I was considering the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art Lens for Canon EF but saw your video and you made me hesitate, Maybe one of the IRIX cine lens would be the best choice? Would be really great if you could give your opinion about this! Thanks in advance and sorry for my English; I'm still learning Have a Productive and Healthy Day!

Hey thanks for the nice review ! Can you update one video for compare the focal between 30mm and 45mm? I have 45mm so I want to know if 30mm is wide enough to go with 45mm, or I should wait 20mm
@diyphotography3 жыл бұрын
Well, we don't know if a 20mm (or a 21mm) is on the way. Anyways, here is some 45mm footage for you. kzbin.info/www/bejne/m6m0pXuYjpdjlac

Irix needs to make like a 22mm T2 and an 80mm T1.5 The reason I pick those focal lengths is because I can totally see them chasing those for their lineups lol. But if they go that way, man they could dominate the market. Just wish their focus Rings were smoother though.
@_rhapsodist2 жыл бұрын
the 21mm T1.5 just came out ;)

Finally! I waited for this one to complete the set. I love that they opted for a 30mm and not a 35mm. I also share the flare disappointment, but I can live without it.
@diyphotography3 жыл бұрын
Yea, 35mm is not the trivial choice, but I am happy they gave us those extra 5mm.

And the 21 today!

IRIX is doing great job! hope the next lens will be 85mm

I sure hope so too. The wide side is pretty much covered. We'll update as we know more. Stay tuned!

Seeing the current trend of Irix's focal lengths, it will probably be closer to 65mm
@udijw3 жыл бұрын
@@westwolf117 if they continue the same trend then yes. I hope that they take a small break and invest some effort on the longer side of the range. One can hope :)

@@udijw It may be just me but I'm hoping for a 21mm as well

Until they release something in the 75-90mm range, this is not a set. Hopefully that's next.

A lot of praise with hardly any negatives. Very sceptable about IRIX sponsoring this. This video does not look good to me. To showcase an 8K cinema lens, it probably needs to be done on an 8K camera and exported in DNxHR 12bit 444 then uploaded to KZbin so we can see how sharp the lens can get.
@patlecat2 жыл бұрын
Actually Irix should make a 65mm to match the 45mm.

Excuse me, but... was this an UNBIASED PRODUCT REVIEW? Or a PAID INFOMERCIAL? 'Cause it surely sounded like the latter.
