Irobot can't keep secrets, it's a yearly tradition at this point. And the twerking mop washing. And twerking mop washing

In my honest opinion, the Eufy X10 Pro, for instance, offers more features than this robot, and it was recently available for $599.99 during Amazon's Prime Day sale. I believe that once their patents expire, they are likely to be acquired by a Chinese firm. They seem to be barely surviving, and I felt their true decline began with the release of the J9, which was already two to three years behind the competition. The release of the 10 Max doesn't seem to change this trend.

I HONESTLY think this is a review of product literature and isn't useful for me at all.

hi, you might remember me from having the s9, just recently i got the j7, and man its so much better than the s9, not the best in terms of cleaning, but IT NEVER GETS STUCK ANYMORE. i had a ton of issues with that on the s9 and i can finally trust the j7 around my house and I dont have to worry about babysitting it!
@hansielategan9693 ай бұрын
I still use my J7 every day. It has never given issues and is a real workhorse. iRobot just seems to live in the past now

Yes, they could be the best of the best but they want to be cheap and use a super old mop design.

How would you compare this to Dreame X40 Ultra and Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra? What would you recommend if price wasn't a concern?

I haven’t been able to try them mopping ones, but I’m I’d like to the only problem is is there over grand and the only thing is is I’m not gonna spend a grand on a robot vacuum unless I can find one on marketplace or eBay for the same thing I love your videos thank you for making this one
@Domski7773 ай бұрын
So I’m guessing it won’t be able to charge and clean the mop at the same time since the robot itself keeps moving away from the charging contacts for the agitation effect. Don’t really see any drying function either although it could have it. I think they’ve maxed out a bad mopping design. Need to go back to the drawing board for the next model.

Agreed, it looks like it will dry the pad.

I agree it's been not out for years so irobot is surprisingly falling behind other retailers like roborock but in new Zealand its sold for $2400 dollars I know so I will probably get some older ones.

Here's my opinion I do think some other robots are better technology. Yes but irobot is repairable and you can get parts for them for a long time. You can still buy parts for robots that are 10 or 12 years old. I don’t think these companies are gonna support their older products like iRobot.

They also have good build quality

Agreed. My Roborock S7MaxV has been absolute lemon and I've had to keep shipping it (and the dock!) back - but it still isn't fixed. Don't think I'll be purchasing a Roborock again.

I agree with their build quality and modular replacement design. But I still prefer my x40 ultra and will likely never buy another robot from irobot. They only get my business for brush rollers. And that's only because the generic ones don't last as long as theirs. The only reason I still use my 3 old roombas is because they still work and pick things up. Otherwise, I'd be tossing them. I currently own and run an I7+, an S9+, a J7+ (Irobot select model that I replaced the motherboard so I could continue to use it), and 2 Dreame x40 Ultras.

I wish more people understood this instead of comparing specs alone. I wouldn't by a Xiaomi (Roborock/Dreame) robot again after seeing how the company ignored the whole error 2 issues which plagued the S4-S7 models.

They should implement the vibrating motor from the Brava Jet 240 into the moping pad

I am reviewing one right now. It's incredibly loud. I would not run it at night or if you want to have a conversation near by.

Can you do a review on the dreame l20 ultra and the newer models? Just bout one and selling my s9 and mop because iRobot refuses to innovate and yes there mop capabilities are subpar
@ozmo_productions33453 ай бұрын
Lemme tell you the facts: when it’s low battery it AUTOMATICALLY goes to its charging pod and you can make it clean any room and it will memorize the room and it will tell you on the app what it memorized and you can assign special rooms AND it has 2 cameras: one on bumper and one the the side of the bumper(by the way I have this robot so I know what to do just tell me if anything happens to it if it breaks if you even buy this robot

There are a couple reviews about this robot, hope it's ok that I'm posting this here but here is the most detailed review so far. The review is not very good, this is by far the loudest when drying the mop pad. Irobot is definitely still behind the times with this model. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iX3dgommaKeVlbM
