I just got one at a thrift store. If it doesnt map then do you need wifi? Want to put in a mountain cabin with iffy wifi.

Question - How did you run your Wifi from 5mhz to 2.4mhz? My modem only will run & support 5mhz so I can't run the app....Any help would be GREATLY appreciated?

You should have the option to enable a 2.4 network on your router!

David! I bought this vac and also the Shark AV752 on Amazon prime day, and I'm trying to decide which to keep (if either.) I watched your review on both of them and would love to know which you would choose between the two-- or if you would keep neither and wait for a better vac on sale. I paid 130 for the Shark and 180 for the roomba 692. Thanks for your help!

My vacuum did not come with complete instructions. You have to use the app to find the Owner's guide.

Thanks for this video! How does the Roomba 692 know when it has finished? Does it always need that time limit set up or will it run until it runs out of battery?

In auto it will run till the battery is depleted and then return home or in some instances die before returning home lol it's why I prefer "smarter robo vacs" that can map and actually know where they have cleaned vs not cleaned!

How come my doesn't connect am at activate and it's there no option "I press button " to go continue

If you're saying it won't connect to the app, you might be trying to connect to a 5 ghz wifi network. It will only connect to a 2.4 ghz wifi network. ~B

Make sure the charging contacts on the vacuum and charger are clean. Leave it overnight and see if it changes up?

Did not pull battery tab out of machine. My machine tab is stuck and I don't want it to break off. Must go somewhere for help.

With the iRobot Home App, set cleaning time limits by choosing a job duration to enjoy clean floors on your schedule. ~B
