It ran without rollers (moderate vaccuum effectiveness) but kept having errors when reinstalling rollers despite all debris cleaned. I figured out it was an issue with the caps (1:20 mark in video), one of the caps was too snug and the inner metal piece wouldn't allow the roller to spin freely. I actually just reinstalled every piece of the rollers minus that one cap and it seems to work fine now. Probably just a bandaid fix but maybe this can help someone, although I probably should find a way to pry the jammed metal piece loose in the future or order new rollers.

On our Roomba 880 two sets of brand new rollers did this, here's what was happening: Dust built up inside of the Roomba housing surrounding the motor which causes it to overheat and that caused the yellow end of the square tipped roller to lock up. The heat must have been expanding the shaft. I actually took the roller and pulled the end apart and drilled out the little brass peice so it rolled freely on the shaft, that worked for about an hour. That's when I disassembled the Roomba even farther to find the motor encased in dust. It's still running fine on the slightly modfied roller a couple weeks later.

We have a Rumba gifted to us. But the box doesn't have instructions on how to set up parameters for cleaning. So it's "cleaning" like a bumper car lol. We call the Rumba nuber and they dont woek on saturdays !! Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I cleaned the rollers and the error disappeared. The key was detaching the heads and cleaning inside them, the dirt and hairs we're stopping the rollers from rolling

I have Roomba J9+ Combo & I've just done what it says in the video. I'm going to see if it fixes the problem, has it just keeps returning to the base, or going off & doing its own thing. Think my robot is a female one. It works when it wants to & then has a mood. Time of the month & all that!! haha 😄 🤣 😂 😆 😄

La roomba i3 mia me pide que cambie el filtro ' ya los e cambiado los 2 y sigue sin funcionar ' pense q era la bateria pues la mande a comprar nueva ' se la cambio y sigue igual ' a la que la saco de la base se apagan las luces y esta muerta no quiere hacer nada ' ya no encuentro que mas hacer ayudenme por favor. Where do I find those matching multi purpose roller brushes? These are the design I have on my i7, but when I order new brushes from irobot they send me brushes that do not fit and cause error2.

Never had this error until cleaned the robot and replaced old and dull brushes with brand new ones. That's infuriating! 😡
