Fun fact, in master chef they always try the dishes before the actual "show up" scenes, the cooks prepare 2 of the same dish, the first is put on the counter and is the one thats shown on the show, the second is kept warm and is being tested while the contestants arent present (so that the judges actually eat the food the way its supposed to be, warm)

See y’all, Joe and Gordon Ramsey aren’t the only ones thinking “Wth is being served??” 😂. Seeing another True Masterchef’s point of view judging those bad dishes makes me respect Joe and Gordon Ramsey more since this Chef is saying the same thing as them. It’s plain and simple bad dishes and they need to be told the truth. Although in the earlier seasons they are expressing it too harshly. The truth still needed to be told or else those home cooks are gonna think too highly of themselves. And they’ll eventually embarrass themselves even more

The US MasterChef show isn't really about being a great cook .. or chef, it's about having drama, it's about creating stories, but it has nothing to do with making the best dishes. And it's a formula that seems to go with all US based "reality" contest shows, whether it's Master Chef, Hells Kitchen, Ink Master, hell if it wasn't for the kids that tend to be involved Lego Masters would even push out this level of tripe that producers think American audiences want to see.

Thank you! I was just digging through the comments to see if ANYONE felt the same way I do. These judges are verbally abusing the contestants, and everyone just laughs and justifies it with, "well they need to hear the harsh truth!"
