Barb, I have trouble keeping the verticals "straight" LOL I can't tell one from another, bullish VS. bearish. Can you help me with an easy way to tell them apart. And I give you a 10 for easy to understand and your teaching skills. Thanks

Short Put Verticals: Bullish ; Short Call Verticals: Bearish. These are both credit spreads. Long Put Verticals: Bearish ; Long Call Verticals: Bullish. These latter two are both debit spreads. ^BM

Mark I had trouble with that too, I did a search for understanding vertical option spreads & found KZbin & sites that explained the difference. I agree it's confusing. After my search I understand the difference, it's not hard you just need the right information

Lets say I have 100 Stock of XYZ (Avg Price $40) and its Current Market Price is $100. I think it's overextended and will pull back. which is the best method for Covered call? OTM ($205 Covered Call) / ATM ($100 Covered Call) / ITM ($95 Covered Call) / Deep ITM ($80 Covered Call )?

If you foresee a very strong pullback, you may not elect to do a covered call at all. Typically, you would do a covered call at a strike that gives you the most premium but is still above where your forecast stock price is. Most traders don't elect to do covered calls ITM unless they plan on selling the stock with assignment. ^BM

Instead of just explaining the basic you mixed everything in one video. You explain the high concepts first rather then explaining the basic and doing order first.
