The battle was great. Ferrus Manus is the second best primarch after Fulgrim. Props to José for improving his English over the past year. Not easy presenting in a second language and he’s doing great.

He certainly is! As for Ferrus vs Fulgrim I still think Ferrus beats him 4 times out of 5

In the game or in the fluff? Cuz in the game Horus is hands down the best (not counting Horus Ascended who is obviously the best by a country mile), and then mathammer-wise Russ, the Lion, Fulgrim, Ferrus, and Angron (on the charge or late game) are all in the running for 2nd, with Russ statistically beating them out by a slim margin. But both Russ and the Lion with the Wolf Blade beat Ferrus statistically, and Russ, the Lion and Ferrus all statistically beat Fulgrim (the Wolf Blade is statistically better against 3++ saves if it can get Reaping Blow off but the Lion Sword is better if you bring Marduk Sedras along for Preferred Enemy).

Hey guys. just noticed a couple of minor rules mistakes while watching the bat rep. Chaplain is stubborn not fearless Derredeo shooting the large blast has gets hot. i dont believe jose ever rolled that before shooting other then that great battle report as always!

Great batrep guys!! Anyway, I think that Brutal definitely need a tone down. I imagine that it can be adjusted this way: every time a model is wounded by a Brutal (X) weapon, it has to roll as many saves as the X dictates and, if at least one roll is a failure, the model is wounded. So basically you are increasing the possibility for a single model to be wounded, not to get more wounds allocated. In this case, some weapons can be considered even though they do not have Brutal (like power fist) because the point difference to the way more common Thunder Hammer is not as convenient as it is right now for the TH.

@@SNBattleReports Yeah he hits the hardest of all Primarchs. I'm not opposed to that entirely but maybe initiative 5? Initiative 6 on that monster of a hammer is kinda crazy. Also, Brutal (2) is probably sufficient for the ONLY Brutal weapon in the Primarch range swinging at initiative. That said, it's kinda fun that he's the 2nd best dueling primarch.

Morty is unfortunately one of the worst Primarchs for duels. I think base Lorgar and Alpharius are the only worse duelists. With Lorgar tho you can buff the hell out of him with Kor Phaeron and the Dark Brethren, and Alpharius is a support piece. Morty is great against anything that doesn't have Eternal Warrior tho.
