100% agree on Dragon's Breath weapons. Rending 6+ instead of +1 strength (or Breaching 6+) would actually make them playable - not competitive, but playable.

I was literally about to type that myself. I'm running Hammer of Olympia but taking Siege Breaker, master signals and also Perturabo. So the siege Break went in 10 man blob of Tyrants and pert. Giving them Sunder now to their Str 9 missiles. And then master of signals into 10-man Las Cannon Iron Havoc Squad.

26:57 Pardo you need to roll the second volley for Gets Hot - don’t forget the negative side effect of the reaction! Also you rolled a 1 in the first volley so that was 1 gets hot. I know they have 2+ armour so the chances of it having an impact are minimal.

Do you not add the -1 bs to scatter on turns with night fighting? Like all of the scatters in this video used the full unmodified BS of the models but I thought you needed to add a inch ( or subtract one less ) because of night fighting. So the plasma dreads would have only reduced the scatter by 4 not 5 on turn one.

Has there been an FAQ about Centerline weapons recently ? If not, the Salamanders player's Vindicator would not have been able to fire its weapon at the Tyrant termies in the direction it was facing. Don't forget the Deredeo must make a Gets Hot roll for the Blast profile for the Hellfire plasma weapon, as I didn't see the Salamanders player make a roll for it once. Only reason for staying was the Primarch battle, well done lads. Vulkan's Iron is Without, Perturabo's Iron is Within !!

@@SNBattleReports It's at 26:00. 1st Ed Heresy rules allowed a player to fire the Vindicators main weapon in the way the Salamanders player was doing it, but 2nd Ed rules that is not allowed as the tank is facing the wrong direction,, see Page 206, AoD Core Rulebook. Perturabo is a beast, even if Forgebreaker is somehow weaker compared to when Ferrus wields it.

Bitter Fury makes the weapons get hot. So you would need to take all your shots. On the first roll Pardo did roll a 1. Very important since it could double out your Tyrants.

A few issues early on for u to adjust in future. Only barrage weapons must re-roll scatter with Night fighting, not all blasts. Augury Scanner only ignores the range restriction on Night Fighting, not the -1 to hit.
