No Prayer for the Dying is weaker than most other Iron Maiden albums, but that's only because Iron Maiden generally has very high quality. Anything can be shit if you compare it to gold. If you don't compare it to other albums and instead just take it for what it is, it's decent.

The only thing I think could have been better for Blaze if he would have only had to sing Maybe lighting and then the backing vocals say strikes twice. Try to sing that perfect Maybe lighting strikes twice 8 times it's instantaneous each line one after another. I tried it just for kicks it takes a lot of breathe and not too easy to do.

I can't understand why people hate blaze, that much. He's a great fucking underrated vocalist. He just can't sing exactly Bruce's era music. Nevertheless he's a great vocalist singing his era songs.

@t4sos1234 I used to be one of those people. But I recently really looked these albums over agian, and realized they were great. No Blaze is not as dynamic as Bruce, and yes, I like these songs better when Bruce DOES sing them, but my only real knock on Blaze is when it came time to sing Classic Maiden stuff. And that ain't his fault.. I have NEVER heard anyone sing Bruce's stuff beside Bruce without cringing. Also, Blaze with Wolfsbane is fantastic!.

I have always thought «Strikes twice» would have sound better with choiring. The chorus is so damn good - the problem, for me, is the S.T-part of it; since Blaze sing the whole chorus alone the «S.t-part» sounds like «quack quack» on the record. A bit better live though.
