You can thank me for this version. I recorded it in September of 84 from MTV. I used to trade tapes/DVD from the mid 80s on. I authored as Videoverkill / Phantom Creations.

"Ah, you can't play heavy metal with synthesizers" - Bruce D. LOL!!! That was the most Spinal Tap moment in Iron Maiden history right there. Bruce has a microphone that goes all the way to 11 because it's one more.

They were on fire on that tour - An unstoppable force. I bought this on VHS when It came out and watched it until the tape stretched. Easy to forget just how big a deal this was for those fans who had spent their lives being unable to see the bands they loved actually play a venue in their country.

Thank you so much for sharing this! I had been looking for this version for a long time. I used to have the old VHS, and then noticed the official DVD sounded different! Very happy getting to hear this version again thanks to you. I never knew it was audio from Hammersmith 1984. I wish they released all the Live After Death shows, Powerslave is my favourite album and tour.

Agree a 100% How about a Live After Death Special Edition, with a couple of FULL Hammesmith shows as bonus discs?! Anyone interested? Then it’s only me then…

It is the guitar section from Revelations you're referring to. Sounds like it was recorded when a couple of the band members were practicing, perhaps during a soundcheck.
