Iron Maiden - Die With Your Boots On Bass cover

I didn't realise there was a gallop on the intro until I studied this song, but it is definitely there .... although when played live the gallop is dropped as the song is often faster.
Track 4 from Piece of Mind, Die with your boots on is a great rocker and has been played on quite a few tours over the years.
Some obscure lyrics (again!) from Bruce, with references to the Frenchman (Nostradamus?) and the Beast rising in '13' (Chapter 13 in Revelations?) are coupled with a catchy melody, especially on the pre chorus. In addition, there is some nice guitar work from Smith and Murray, not to mention the driving bassline.....leaving this song to be a fine closer to the original vinyl.

Dude you are awesome, great bass skills ;) is there any way you could improve the sound on your earlier videos? From the first and perhap second maiden album (for example: the quality on this video Die with your boots on sounds a lot better than Prowler or Remember tomorrow)

Pim Vd Steeg Thanks for the comment mate :) The only way to improve the sound on the older videos would be to re film them, as my videos are just simply filmed with a camera recording my bass and the cd player at the same time. No mixing. I have loads still to record so I doubt I will revisit the older ones until I have filmed all the other Maiden albums....but who knows, maybe one day :)

Thanks! The only thing you need is a Tech 21 Sansamp programmable Bass Driver ... a superb box that will make any amp sound huge ;)
