Number of the Beast is one of my favorite Iron Maiden albums of all time. This is their best albums to date in the world. Best lyrics and great guitar riffs. Iron Maiden is one of the greatest British bands in the face of the planet regardless. They have the best music in the world. Plus this song tells history. life is better with good music. not like there's no new decent tunes or everything the 80's spat out was pure gold, just that in 30 years i see this still being played and re-re-re-discovered and current songs will fade into obscurity. then again, rock is about attitude, energy, virtuosity and singularity, so that's just one reason why it stands the test of time.

First Time i heard this song was at a Huge Party on Indian Lands at a Abandoned house in a hill!! and so many of us were Under-age.. and it was cranking loud, then two Sheriff car's Sirens coming up the road through Cottonwood creek between El Cajon n Jamul n Harbison Canyon in East County San Diego,Ca... Instant Party over, and everyone scattering out like cockroaches.. and that song was blasting.. Best Maiden Moment for me ever... my Indian friends from back then still laugh about that party!
