Firstly, thanks for uploading this, secondly, hearing Paul sing 'Invasion' gives us an insight into what TNOTB might have sounded like had he lasted another year, at least, with Maiden. Anyone else wonder about this? If you agree give it a thumbs up, if not say why. Up the Irons 👍

@@leethomas255 Nice try, but you said Invasion gives us an insight into what Number of the Beast would sound like with Paul! Invasion isn't on Number of The Beast and has nothing in common with any of those songs at all.

@@MrLtia1234 Thanks for your reply, but if you read my comment carefully I said 'Invaders' MIGHT have given us an IDEA of what NOTB MiGHT have sounded like with Paul D on Vocals. Nothing 'nice try' about my comment. Of course Number sounds nothing like Iron Maiden or Killers, as their sound evolved. I think you've missed the point of my comment. We'll never know if Dian'os voice would have suited or coped with the new sound. That's something I'll let other people speculate and debate. However if your a new or recent fan of Maiden and you watch Diano's recent gig on KZbin and his physical condition, then I suspect that he wouldn't. Up the Irons - always. 😊👍

wow this is good metal 4 song demo before the soundhouse tapes in 1979. 2 different songs on this before the soundhouse tapes. in 1978 this december. love iron madien, and i think these demos are rare. these demos could of been the first soundhouse tapes, i think they are.

@@alexvanos6917 'The Soundhouse tapes' were released as a response to people asking for the Spaceward tape, which had just been handed to Neal Kay, who then played it obsessively at 'the Soundhouse' where he was DJing. They just released this tape and called it 'The Soundhouse Tapes' minus Strangeworld as Paul wasn't happy with his performance (Not sure why Prowler isn't on this video). They meant to do overdubs, but couldn't afford to buy the tape before it was wiped, so it's just their copy with no mixing. This is the only time they recorded in a studio before the first album.

I suspect so. Greene King is a common beer to see in Cambridge and environs, as the brewery is based in Bury St. Edmunds, not all that far away. The weather would match, too.

What stupid questions are these? If you play Bass guitar you can identify that Harris is playing Fender precision bass guitar, but maybe on this demo he uses Roundwound strings
