A staple in all of Metal, Iron Maiden brings the heat with this incredible song!
I was fortunate enough to see Maiden play live before the lockdowns. They certainly know how to put on a proper metal show.
Clive Burr again lays down an absolutely incredible drum track here. I think there's one part at the end where I don't do exactly what he does on the hats and crashes. But hey, pretty close!
You can see I was pretty pumped at the end because this was roughly take 60?

Hey thanks brother! It's an Aquarian Hi Energy snare head. Honestly I love it!! I saw it from Chris Adler on the signature 12" snare he has. So I decided I'd try it in 13" on this pearl

It's the most heavy duty snare head I've used! Good for metal, it really deadens the sound

@@johngdrums420 yeah!! That snare is badass! I tried getting my hands on a 12 for that one, but apparently it's not available in canada... or at least a special order! Soni went with a UV2, and honestly, I love it! I typically use an EC reverse dot which is Super durable and still gives a great sound! However, j found that the 12" version of that was crap! Rocking a dw performance 14 for a few years with a standard Remo emperor x black dot For now to go with acrylic kit when I got it a couple years ago.
