Fun fact - Marvel took a loan just to make an Iron Man movie. They had sold most of their characters and the deal was that if the Iron Man didn't work, Marvel would have to sell the rest of their characters as well. That's why Iron Man is the biggest reason for MCU's success. Iron Man was one of Marvel's properties that they never properly used but had the most growth potential. Who knew Iron Man would later become the FACE OF MCU.

I come from the future, January 14 2015 to be precise. I wanted to tell you when this trailer was shown it gave birth to one of the largest franchises ever. After this movie there was Thor, Hulk and Captain America and in 2012 they will cross over in the 1.5 billion movie "The Avengers". After that came sequels to the standalone movies and in May 2015 we will see the second Avengers movie called "Avengers: Age of Ultron". A dozen movies after Age of Ultron have also been confirmed until 2019, making the series have more than 20 movies, and writers say they have scripts to last until 2028, 20 years in the future for you. The legacy of this movie will live on as the movie that started a worldwide phenomenon. And no, hover boards don't exist.

I just want to point out that the ending of this trailer, along with full sequence in the Film. That scene is one of, if not the best shot in the entire MCU. We never witnessed a sequence as beautiful as this before...

Did you know that when Marvel got the money to make the MCU they barrow $525 million form a bunch of investors but the equity they use to get that kind of money was the Marvel characters so basically if Iron Man 1 flopped in theaters Marvel Comics would be over!

One trailer to start it all... I always think that this movie is an allegory to Marvel Studio itself. They built their cinematic universe from scraps.
