Shaya Bekele you do know shield is adamantium/vibranium right? Which absorb the kinetic energy ? Meaning no matter how powerful the strike you will only be thrown back and not killed and also cap has superhuman durability at this point.

I know this is old. But the Thor in this story had the Odin/Thor force. No armor Tony could make would stand a chance. The only reason Tony even lasted at all in this fight is because his suit absorbed Thor's energy and used it against him. If Thor wanted to, he could have just teleported Tony into the sun, transmuted the suits material into cotton candy or erased him from existence. This same Thor with the Odin force turned off by Dr Strange, no hammer and only one arm killed Hulk and Thing (at the same time) in had to hand combat.

To be fair. This was king thor(odin force powered). So it stands to reason the thorbuster armor wouldnt stand too long. Pretty sure the armor would have faired way better against thor in his regular power level.
