Already happened back in 2010 during War of The Serpent. Tony Stark is granted access to the Forges of Nidavellir where he is allowed by Odin to combine the Uru metal along with Odin's blessings or enchantments with his Model 37 "Bleeding Edge" Armor (which we see in the movie Avenger: Infinity War). The result is the Iron Destroyer. The Model 37 is an enhancement on the Extremis technology... That's why we had to endure the movie Iron Man 3. Rob even explained all of this a while ago. Where the hell have you two been?

I would like to see Stan Lee pop up as a super-realistic CGI and have him fight Thanos. Make it appear as though Thanos is winning in an fist fight and then have Stan brush himself off and say, "Thanks for the warm-up... now it's time for the main event." And follow it with the most epic and hilarious ass whipping that has even been put on screen. Thanos would try to counter with the Infinity Gaunlet's power, only to have nothing work at all. Obviously you can't strike down a god with a weapon he created, if he exists outside of the reality it works within.

I feel sorry for thanos in avengers 4. The guantlet seems weakened, and without it, Thor is now powerful enough to take him out on his own, plus it's looking like iron man will be coming for blood, and the hulk, too. Yeah, the hulk got beat, but i'm thinking next time, banner and hulk will be working together toward a shared goal, rather than the egos fighting each other for control. I think we may get a smarter hulk next time. And iron man.... he lost petey. He won't stop until he fixes things, and takes out thanos in the process.

Thanos should easily be able to wield the stones without the gauntlet, just maybe only one at a time. Even if he can't fully utilize the stones with a weaker gauntlet I am sure it is still strong enough for him to hold his own. Plus killing Thanos isn't the point, bringing everyone back from the dead is. To accomplish this they may need Thanos help or at least get the gauntlet to have it refurbished by the dwarf.

I disagree that the gauntlet is as powerful as before, sure the stones themselves are, but the gauntlet is damaged. In the MCU the gauntlet itself is the weak point, it cannot handle to energy of the stones (my theory). That's going to be Thanos weakness in the next film

maybe, I doubt it in the MCU. The Gauntlet and Stormbreaker seem somewhat resistant to the Infinity Stones (not immune, just resistant), and the stones themselves seem to be the cause of strain on the gauntlet, so any attempt to fix the gauntlet with them would probably be a moot point as the stress would be placed on the gauntlet itself (like running on a treadmill, you're not going anywhere). Or if all else fails this could end up like the whole "you can't wish for more wishes" type circumstance.

Awesome! Theory here Prior to the infinity gauntlet Thanos de-populated worlds. What if Thanos knew something that we didn't about what he would call a greater evil? An evil that can evaluate over populated worlds and their inevitable destruction. An evil that sent spies known as heralds to worlds to Devour, because He, this evil, is the embodiment of Balance. Then what if one of the worlds Thanos attempted to save prior to the gauntlet was a skull world which was eventually ....balanced by the Devourer of Worlds ? That can give us a skrull war topped off with a Galactus Assault. In a nut shell

They get destroyed but end up getting put somewhere. Time stone usually doesn’t get destroyed but just disappears and get put literally anywhere in time. Read illuminati and youll see reed, tony, professor x, black bolt, And namor in a quest of retrieving them. Captain america uses it later and you’ll see what happens when to the stones when you use it.

It's if you tank his omega beams you can beat Darkseid. Case and point, doomsday (no that wasn't a Darkseid avatar) tanks Darkseid's omega beams, Darkseid is shocked, Doomsday proceeds to nearly beat him death to the point where Superman had to save him...and Galactus (yes I know the Galactus fight is none canon but the point stands) tanks the omega beams without even a scratch, Darkseid is shocked, Galactus proceeds to destroy his planet, Anti-monitor. Darkseid isn't known as a strategic genius. On the other hand, Thanos can give Batman lessons on tactics and strategy. This is why Thanos has acquired items of significant power like, the cosmic cube, the infinity gauntlet, the heart of the universe and more recently another device that makes even the one above all fearful of him.

They have a Thanos buster. It called Stormbreaker. For intensive purposes, based on what has happen in the MCU, Stark would have to use Vibranium, and incorporate whatever advance space tech he can use. Remember that Stark is on Titan, in another galaxy away. He would first have to find a way back home, or a way back to where ever Thanos is. Nebula will most likely tell Stark where he is, leading him or if she'll joins him is still unknown. Thanos wasn't entirely powerful, the gauntlet made him powerful. His potential ability for destruction is what makes him a universal level threat. Stark's armor premise is based on the concept that his abilities are defensive. He protects. What use is armor when there is nothing left to defend? At this point, Starks mission is no longer defensive, he failed, the universe has seen death on scale unknown to most. His friends are dead, most likely all of those he cared for are dead. He's looking to end Thanos. Pure and simple. As such, armor implies Stark thinks he's going to get hit, I think most likely Stark will think of a weapon to kill Thanos. This is where Hawkeye and Antman may play a role, Stark needs an assassin and he needs the gauntlet. Really I think those two will play a role. The problem is what is Thanos' plan post destruction of life? He must know that half of the universe is going to be looking for revenge. That he pissed off the Avengers, the Guardians, the Nova Corps, and the Asgardians. A man with a target that large on his head could get hit by anything. To be honest it can go anyway you can think of. The variables are massive.

Rob I think the whole thing about the infinity gauntlet being less powerful is that the Gauntlet Itself is now less capable of handling the infinite power of the stones. The stones themselves weren’t reduced, but the actual metal gauntlet was. Kind of like damaging a circuit that connects a battery to something. The battery itself doesn’t have any less electricity, but is now less capable of delivering its power to do work

I've been wanting to see Tony, Bruce, Peter, Shuri and Rocket in a lab/machine room working together to design and build weapons/equipment for everyone that's left and using Vibranium, Uru Metal, Dr. Strange Magic, Asgardian science/magic and Wakandan Tech. There are some really smart people and for the most part all we get to see is a lot of punching.

Mhel Mabayo mcu yes. Unfortunately. Comic wise, literally one of the most badass ever, even without the gauntlet. I was very surprised when the film implied his new hammer was more powerful than the fully assembled gauntlet. I understand that they ultimately needed to close down the storyline, but, there's reasons why in the comics nobody, even cosmic entities could stop him. It is damn near impossible to defeat someone who has power and connection to all minds, realities, souls, space, time(s), and powers. Thor's surprise attack simply wouldn't have been possible, and his hammer woulve simply been dropped through a space portal. Cheap writing there. Especially after a corny "I've got the power" scene once the gauntlet was assembled, only to be wrecked moments later

veggiet2009 The ship was ripped in half. If you watch the beginning of the movie again, you can see both halves being shot to keep them from moving, and one half is trying to tell Thanos' ship that they only have families on board.

I'd imagine that iron man could make a suit that could defeat Thanos and the infinity gauntlet. Since the infinity gauntlet only works in its respective universe, I imagine Tony could travel to another universe make a suit and travel back to his universe to fight Thanos with a suit that is now impervious to the infinity gauntlet. Maybe it wouldn't work, but who knows.
