I didn't grow up in the SNES era of games-I was a PS1 dude. I've played Contra before-which this game is heavily inspired by. To me, this is Contra for the new generation. Graphics are similar, but updated. There's blood and gore and elements of horror that make the game 'edgier' and 'cooler'. The character selection is vast. The challenge is there-but it's fair as long as you have a quick trigger finger and keep a cup of coffee by you as you navigate the jumps and shooting. Some reviewers have said the game is too short-I haven't beaten it, but remember that the original Contra can be beaten in under an hour if you're a pro. So to me-it seems like the average length of a game like this. I'm excited to beat this game-only to replay it and get better and better at it. I wanna unlock the characters, get points. That's where this game I think will shine.

Yeah it was a solid experience and a fun time! I enjoyed my time with it and will keep it on the Deck for when I just feel like doing another run because the mechanics are killer, the graphics and music are awesome, and it's a good time to play with a friend in co-op mode. 👍

good game but still, and i hate to say it, it still feels ''off'', but not by a lot, the controls are like %90 there but still not tight enough, the analogue works badly so u have to use the dpad and it still feels like there is a very and i mean very slight delay to a point that a death feels like a punishment. i really am a fan of this game, but i am gonna say one thing, that new contra game ? the galuga one ? that is a contra game to the bones, the only problem it has is the price, if that game was priced as fairly as this, then more people would love it. and also, BLAZING CHROME is still the best copy cat game on the market. and to be honest, the trophies suck a lot, took me many tries to get the airplane one, that sniper before the meat car ? i have no idea how to even do it.... anw, good game, 8/10 is fair.

Dude Blazing Chrome has been on my Steam wishlist for a while now....it looks insanely good. And for that sniper achievement, just kill those snipers right before the first meat car without letting them get a shot off at you...that should do it. 👍 it took me a few tries to get the sniper one and the airplane engine one as well!

Hi. Is the achievement Quickdraw broken? I have achieved it on my first run. Then I erased my save and started a new playthrough. Although steam shows I've earned it already, while playing through the game, it doesn't unlock in-game anymore.

Sorry for the late reply! Been super busy. That's weird, it took me forever to unlock that one but I never deleted a save and then tried to re-unlock it in game after already getting it. You may want to create a thread on the Steam discussion board because I haven't heard of it before!

hello nice video I recently got this game I try to do achivements, dont let goods to touch ground in forest sims to be hard for me, can you elaborate on it, in my mind I took every goods before they touch ground and still can not get it

It took me a little bit to figure it out as well! There is one behind you at the beginning of the mission that the guy throws to you…that’s the one you’re probably missing because that’s the one I was! Hope this helps man, appreciate the comment ✌️

@@PapunaOfficial No prob! You end up getting the 100%?! That City level on Hard mode was the biggest challenge for me, so rewarding once I got it though. 🙌

@@TwigmasterGaming tbh i cheated to beat on hard, beat on easy and normal, btw should I unlock all skins to achieve getting all achievements?

@@PapunaOfficial Yeah you should unlock all skins naturally by doing all the other achievements and then getting your profile ranked up to max will get all the rest I believe!
