If your having trouble with him use ring of fire and Pillar stance to get in to easy hits while healing. Remember to only swing when attacking because he will dodge the big swings

What do you do after rock solid ? You heavy attack with thrust stance? Havent read enough about the skills but its some kind of counter attack after a successful deflection ? Cuz its executed really fast without chargijg

Rock solid followed by heavy attack, can use any stance, Successful deflection adds 1 focus point, even if you have no focus pts, you get 1 focus point for deflecting and counter thrust heavy with 1 fcs point makes the staff a bit longer
