This embroidery machine does not have a sewing option. If you want a embroidery/sewing combo I’d suggest the Brother SE600 or SE625

So i just bought this exact embroidery machine and have been searching for videos on how to use it. So far out of all the videos I've seen, yours is the best! I wish you had more videos on how to use this machine like identifying its specific parts, even if it's another video on making patches. I'm a little intimidated by it, I've opened the box and browsed through the manual but I haven't even taken the machine out yet.

Does the machine stop itself between each thread option for you to change it out?

Yes. As long as the design was created with multiple colors it will stop so you can change threads.

I Don’t believe so because it might not cut out the patch correctly or could cut through your patch causing the thread to break.

Yes, this particular machine does not have a sewing option, just embroidery, but it is easy to use and beginner friendly.
