8:15 this is actually incorrect. There is a separate piece of equipment that does what you say, but it is described like "the first (X) weapons gain (x)% attack". When the gear says "rank" or "quality" of weapon gets a bonus, it is actually referring to the quality modifier of the weapon. When you look at the mech's details, there is a bunch of colored circles next to the weapon. The amount of circles determines the rank/quality and the colour describes the damage type. So for the Basic Shell, it only enhances the damage of weapons with 1-2 circles. The color also becomes important too with some modifiers, for example you can get gear that enhances energy damage and stun duration. That will only work on weapons with yellow circles. The game does give you a ridiculously large amount of factors to consider when building mechs.

Haha oh man you've stumbled upon the best part of Iron Saga! There are a ton of different interactions that lead to really fun combos. For example there's this Ancient Plane Phoenix that shoots single shot missiles that float around and fire more projectiles. By itself it's pretty weak, but I've got a pilot that has a skill that gives her a 25% chance to fire Single Shot weapons 4 times but messes up their aim. Normally that skill would suck, but Phoenix's missiles are like drones/funnels so they work well even without guidance. There are so many cool synergies to try with various mecha!

@@taxuenowoz4038 She's called Layla. The skill in question is Critical Explosion. Her other skills, Weakness Focus and Elemental Affinity also work well with Phoenix thanks to Burn and Fire Elemental attacks. You'll probably need a good defensive copilot to make it work in PVP.

You're lucky starting off with IronSaga English. I played this first on Chinese in 2017/18 and i used google translate to help navigate 😅 Now i make new account an finally able to read the novel storyline. Phew~

The best thing about this game is that it let us restore any much for small gold fee, return every gold, energy core and any dupes spend on it. So its get really easy to test out different mechs. Some A ranks mech r quite strong at 9stars(no dupes needed for upgrade) compare to some 5stars Sss.

I know my A rank Yaksha M still does more DPS than even my 9* SSS mechs by a considerable margin. It's squishy but can push 2000 dps with the right gear and circumstances, so I give it things like anti-aggro camo and it never leaves me team

put sasaki in vassago MA, thank me later lol, and the later you can put a 10* slokai in that same mech, its nasty

He have slokai So it's probably better with slokai And DJG/Dou Tong is better with sasaki and stress core. At least for me.

Reigo Vassal 4444 he recommends Sasaki/MA because MA has two forms, which allows you to use her ULT twice. Unlike DJG/Dou Tong
