trust me when I was in high school all I did was listen to Immortal Technique I remember watching this battle when I was still a teenager and being stunned this battle represents to me a changing of the guard from rappers like Technique and Eyedea and Brother Ali who primarily made music and battled on the side to rappers like Solomon and Thesaurus and Illmac who battled full time and made music on the side also that “why you always talk about aborted fetuses!?” line was and is still hilarious and painfully accurate

When you're freestyling it is inevitable that a line might come out twice. What's important is the impact and personal stuff. Iron spits that in every battle. He knows how to hit guys where it hurts and make them laugh at themselves they get they're ass handed so bad. Personally I don't think I've ever heard a freestyle without any recycled shit. The rappers "freestyling" on hot 97 are the worst offenders. Iron wins every battle i've ever seen him in.. UNTOUCHABLE
