Nice job but I'm not sure where you got the drawing from but the two plates on the bottom are not necessary because they don't do nothing for the moveable jaw. It's already holding its own plate.

Yes we agree it was not needed unless it was for fixing it to another surface (like a clamp). We got the PDF from the Web from another demonstration.

Even for clamping you don't need it. It is just a waste of time and money for production
